The circle as a clean geometrical form shows the essence and beauty of the animal hides in its most elementary form. A close-up, focussing on hidden details, gives an entirely new structural formation of subject. The selection of particular parts of the rawhide to be worked on and the addition of cerain lines aim to the fusion of the organic and the man-made. This combination is intended to emphasize the natural beauty and specific behaviour of each animal skin and goes beyond the original natural properties through a truly 'new nature'.
